This Lesson Requires Glue Gun and Glue Sticks, Silicone Baking Mat
I have several glue guns and these are my favorites. I use the large one for a thicker stream of glue, smaller one for less glue. Any glue guns will do the trick. And any glue gun usually comes with glue sticks.
This is the larger gun I use, and it comes with different size tips:
Here's a great glue gun that is a recent discovery. It's a motorized glue gun that puts down a steady, even stream of glue without having to pump the trigger. No blobs! The glue is a long coil, not short sticks, and provides a continuous feed of glue. You don't have to replace sticks as you work. It's a little more expensive than most: About $40, but it's worth it to me to have nice, continuous lines of glue.
We'll draw our glue gun stencils on a silicone baking sheet, which allows for easy pick-up once the glue has cooled. This one allows you to see through it, so you can put drawings under the mat to guide your glue lines.
